Guest Lecture Series 3

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mariana Galvão Lyra, Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Manager at LUT University in Finland, where she contributes to the Greenrenew platform on green hydrogen and CO₂ solutions for industry renewal. Her research lies at the intersection of business, society, and democracy, with a strong focus on organizational legitimacy, public perceptions, and the role of businesses in sustainability transitions. She is committed to reinforcing democratic practices and promoting inclusive, transparent, and effective public participation in the governance of renewable energy. In her talk, “Social acceptance of emerging technologies for the energy transitions,” she will share her perspectives on these important issues.
